The Story Trek: A Closer Look at "The Ripple Effect"

This week, BYUtv aired its final episode of The Story Trek Season 12, "The Ripple Effect." Read below for Todd's take on this final episode of the season.

BYUtv: What are your thoughts on this final episode?

Todd: It was important for each of us to see Ashley’s story. And the importance of her story has been life-saving for so many people. How does it get any better than that?

When you combine the impact Ashley has on so many people, with the way her story happened, it is literally a dream come true. What a powerful way to end the season.

BYUtv: What's your inspiration for The Story Trek?

Todd: This has always been one of those stories I point to that’s shows The Story Trek is bigger than me. The Story Trek has certainly never been about me, but I’ve been lucky enough to be involved. And sometimes inspiration, serendipity, luck, whatever you believe in makes magic happen.

I believe we are all connected and the best way to get to know someone is to have an actual conversation with them. That is challenging in 2018 when everything is electronic. It is ironic that I say this typing on a keyboard about a show that you will watch on a TV or device. But the reason I do this show is to help people understand the importance of, well, everyone. Everyone is worth getting to know.
