Are You Ready for The Kindness Diaries Season 2 Premiere?

Season 2 of The Kindness Diaries is premiering on Tuesday, January 22nd, at 7:30pm MT, and we can't for you to join Leon Logothetis in his second kindness journey!

To give you an insider look at The Kindness Diaries, we sat down with Leon and asked him about his route, what he packs, what he does when people are unkind to him, and more!

Find out all the answers from the man searching the globe for kindness, Leon Logothetis!

Leon: Well, I'm an Englishman. I like dogs. I like the sun. I don't like the rain. And sometimes I like being kind. Not sometimes, all the time. All the time.

BYUtv: Tell us something that happened in Season 1 that didn’t air.

Leon: So, I went ice surfing in Tofino in Canada, and I don't know how to surf, it was very, very cold and it never made it to the show which was very disappointing because I wanted people to see me in all my bravery.

BYUtv: What can viewers expect to see this season?

Leon: The viewers can expect to see a lot of kindness, a lot of the car breaking down, a lot of me having some moments, and a lot of happiness and if you are a person who has a big heart, which I'm sure you all are, maybe you'll see some tears.

BYUtv: What has been one of your favorite places to visit?

Leon: One of my favorite places to visit without a shadow of a doubt is Ushuaia in Argentina. And that is actually where the journey ends, but I'm not going to give it away because I may not have made it to Ushuaia, you don't know that yet. Maybe I went to Ushuaia before the journey.

BYUtv: Why did you pick this route?

Leon: So I picked this route for Season 2 because for Season 1 I did L.A. all around the world back to L.A. And I've always wanted to drive from Alaska to Argentina and the other only option I had was Africa. So, I'm not that brave yet, so season 2 was Alaska to Argentina.

BYUtv: Have you ever had an experience where no one would help you?

Leon: I've had many experiences where no one would help me. And that's why I've had to sleep in the car, that's why I have gone hungry. That's why I get depressed sometimes because people reject me all the time. So, yes, absolutely.

BYUtv: How do you respond to unkind people?

Leon: How do I respond to people who are unkind to me? I try my best to be kind back to them. But I am human, so sometimes I fail.

BYUtv: How do you prepare for your kindness journey?

Leon: I prepare for my kindness journey simply by not thinking\ about what I'm about to do, because if I think about what I'm about to do, I won't do it.

BYUtv: What items do you always bring with you?

Leon: I always bring shoes, trousers, and a t-shirt.

BYUtv: What do your friends and family think about your journeys?

Leon: So, my family and friends think I'm a nut job.

BYUtv: What do you want people to take away from this show?

Leon: I want people to take away from the show that there really is kindness out there in the world, and that when we look at the news, we think that everything is falling apart. But more often than not, there's goodness out there. Go and find it, because actually the easiest way to find it is to look in the mirror.
