Season 5: Meet Team Green!

We've introduced you to Team Blue, and now it's time for you to meet Marcus Taylor and Keith Breedlove of Team Green from Season 5 of Relative Race!

Find out why these brothers are on the race, where they want to go, their strengths and weaknesses, and MORE below:

Marcus: My name is Marcus Taylor. I'm from Victorville, California. This is my brother right here. I'm 23 years old. We have the same mom, different dad. We're Team Green.

Keith: Hi, my name is Keith Breedlove. I'm from Los Angeles, California. I'm 29 years old. This is my brother, and we're Team Green.

Marcus: My mom passed away when I was five years old. I never met my dad. That separated me from my family my whole entire life. I didn't get back in touch with my brother until I became an adult. I moved to L. A. I was actually homeless. I moved to L.A. for dancing. I'm now a professional dancer, just did my eleventh commercial. I'm on billboards in New York, L. A., Vegas, like all over the place.

He's one of my biggest supporters now. He actually found me on Facebook, and I actually changed my name so it was hard how he found me. And he took me in, under his wing and he's been supporting me ever since.

BYUtv: What is your team strategy?

Keith: Win. Our team strategy is to win.

BYUtv: Who are you hoping to meet?

Keith: I would love for my brother to meet his biological father, and I would like to meet him too. But I don't think I would have that personal connection, it would just be cool. I would like to meet any cousins or aunties or uncles or anything like that I haven't been in touch with—that would be cool.

Marcus: I would like to meet any family that I've never met, 'cause I was always separated from my family and a lot of the foster homes I grew up in, I went to like, 12 foster homes, so that's like a long time of being separated. But, I would also love to find my dad. Maybe he doesn't know I exist. I don't know his ethnicity, his name, nothing, so if I found out that, that would be a big plus too.

Keith: Yeah.

BYUtv: What is your biggest strength?

Keith: We're competitive. Honestly, I think that would honestly be our biggest strength.

I'm not bad with navigation, with or without a phone, so I think that we'll be good in that department.

BYUtv: What is your biggest weakness?

Keith: We haven't been in many states, so.

Marcus: Oh yeah, I’m a small town city boy.

Keith: So to not have traveled much that would be [hard] to maneuver around.

Marcus: Mm-hm.

BYUtv: What city would you love to visit on the race?

Marcus: I've never been to Vegas.

Keith: That's not far. I've been to Vegas. I mean, I've never been anywhere in Texas, so somewhere there because my dad is from there, so somewhere out there would be good. Houston or something.

BYUtv: What is your road trip snack of choice?

Keith: Some type of fruit, that would be good, but fruit doesn't last long, so I guess I'd have to say Cheez-its or something like that?

Marcus: Veggie chips.

Keith: Veggie chips?

Marcus: I like Veggie Chips.

Keith: I guess Veggie Chips would be all right.

Marcus: Water, banana, veggie chips. Some peanuts. I like eating healthy, you know. I've got to take care of my body, you know. I'll even bring seaweed. Dried seaweed, you know?

BYUtv: What is one thing you can’t live without?

Keith: Um, air? No, is that literal? I'm just kidding. For him, for sure the cellphone is gonna be--

Marcus: Definitely, probably the cellphone. Man, cellphone and dancing. Other than dancing, I probably can't live without my cellphone. My Instagram followers probably won't be happy that I can't be on there for about two weeks.

Keith: Okay, being in contact with my son, honestly, because I have a son and being on the road and not being able to get in contact with him, that's gonna be tough.

Marcus: Oh yeah.
