It’s been 53 years since Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated. Thanks to recently declassified documents, we now know he was under constant surveillance by the FBI at the time of his murder. His phones were tapped. His hotel rooms bugged. The FBI had paid informants in Dr. King’s close orbit. Sam Pollard, a film professor at New York University, directed a documentary on the subject.
