You Can Take a Tour of BYU Broadcasting’s State-of-the-Art Facility: Here’s How!
Next Previous

Did you know that BYU Broadcasting offers guest tours of its state-of-the-art facility?

Ever since we opened the doors to our new broadcasting building in early 2011, BYU Broadcasting has become a very popular guest destination! If you are going to be visiting BYU campus and would like to tour the building, here are a few things you’ll need to know before visiting us:

Tour hours: Tours are offered Monday through Friday from 11 am to 7 pm. The building is closed on weekends and all major holidays. However, due to our studios being in use every week, we advise scheduling your tour ahead of time to make sure we have tours available when you are visiting campus. Tours are free.

Group size: Anywhere between 1 and 20 guests per group. If you have a larger group than 20, we recommend scheduling back-to-back tours in advance. Whether you are a scout leader, youth group leader, big fan of Studio C, or just visiting Provo on vacation, tours are open to anyone interested.

Tour length: One hour.

What your tour includes: The building has an incredible control room where your tour begins. After an overview of all the stations we broadcast, you will then get to see our three production studios, which are Studio A, Studio B, and the famed Studio C. You will also visit hair and makeup, green rooms, production control rooms, and our FM on-air booths and music library.

Directions and parking for BYU Broadcasting: BYU Broadcasting is located at 701 East and University Parkway in Provo, UT, 84602. We are directly east of the Marriott Center and north of the Bean Life Science Museum. The main entrance is on the north side of the building and there are designated visitor parking stalls in the north parking lot. You will need to secure a parking pass from our reception desk upon checking in.

How to schedule a tour: If you are interested, please e-mail our Guest Relations Manager at byubtours@byu.edu, or call 801.422.8492. We look forward to seeing you here!
