The Brigham Young University multicultural dance group Living Legends, performs a ensemble of traditional dances from Native American, Latin American, and Polynesian milieus. The program depicts the cyclical history of a Season of War, a Season of Peace, and a Season of Prosperity for the native people of North and South America and the Polynesian Islands. The program includes behinds the scenes comments by members of this amazing group. Symphonie Fantastique by the 2008-09 BYU Philharmonic Orchestra. Conductor Kory Katseanes leads the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra in their performance of the revolutionary masterpiece Symphonie Fantastique by romantic composer, Hector Berlioz. Berlioz originally wrote and premiered this piece in 1830 at the age of 27, but over the years was changed significantly and re-published in 1845. The BYU Philharmonic Orchestra consists of 95 of the University?s most talented musicians and has an impressive repertoire. "Viva España" was performed and taped April 9th-11th, 2009, in the Marriot Center on the Provo, Utah, campus of Brigham Young University. The BYU Ballroom Dance Company is one of America's outstanding performing dance groups. Nineteen-time winners of the prestigious British Formation Dancing Championships, and holders of the U.S. Formation title since 1982, they have been acclaimed as "one of the top three formation dance teams in the world." The company was organized around 50 years ago and is now the largest collegiate dance program in the world.
