Commemorate Black History Month with Robert Sims, the illustrious African American baritone, who will perform a special musical concert on Wednesday, February 20, at 10pm ET/8pm MT on Sirius XM 143 BYUradio. You can listen live on air or online.
Sims is one of the preeminent singers of African American folk music and spirituals in the United States. He made his recital debut at Carnegie Hall in 2005, and was invited to participate in Honor! A Celebration of the African American Cultural Legacy at Carnegie Hall in 2009. He recently appeared with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and made his debut in the United Kingdom with the Gibraltar Philharmonic. Sims has performed in concert at New York’s Lincoln Center, the Smithsonian Institution, Grant Park, the American Church in Paris and at countless other venues throughout North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
