He already played Adam Sandler's nephew in Bedtime Stories and the son of Steve Carell and Tina Fey in Date Night. Now Jonathan Morgan Heit is joining Brendan Fraser, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ricky Gervais and William Shatner in the new animated film Escape from Planet Earth, opening on February 15 in the U.S.

The new film follows alien astronauts Scorch and Gary, who must escape from the clutches of Earth's government agents and save their home planet. Jonathan stars as Kip Supernova, an adventurous young alien who's along for the ride.

You can also watch Jonathan this spring on BYUtv's first original drama series, Granite Flats. He plays Arthur Milligan, a boy who moves with his mother to the 1960s small town of Granite Flats after the mysterious death of his father. Arthur encounters new friends and new enemies as dangerous developments in the town threaten to change the lives of everyone.
