Comment Policy

BYUtv.org encourages civil and respectful dialogue amongst its viewers. We welcome thoughtful comments and the expression of points of view that enlighten fellow viewers and/or that add insight to the conversation and content being discussed.

Use of our comment and chat features are governed by the following guidelines:

• All comments and chat posts are part of a publicly viewable discussion and, therefore, should be respectful and civil toward all other users and should enhance the quality of the conversation.
• Comments may not include personal attacks, discriminatory remarks, obscenity, vulgarity, profanity (including symbol-replaced words), commercial promotion, name-calling, slurs, or any other language meant to provoke or offend others.
• BYUtv.org reserves the right to edit or completely remove any comment and user or Facebook profile that it deems, in its sole discretion, violates this policy. Furthermore, user or Facebook profiles thus flagged or that abuse the comment/chat features may be restricted from posting comments or participating in chat discussions on BYUtv.org in the future.

To post a comment

You need to register on BYUtv.org. Registration takes about a minute to complete and requires a valid email address and your first and last name. Other information you provide is optional but helps the website provide additional value to you as a user. To post a Facebook comment

On BYUtv's "live chat" discussion you also need to login to Facebook. By default, Facebook comments will be posted to your Facebook wall. You may optionally uncheck the "Post to Facebook" checkbox to limit your chat comment to the BYUtv.org Facebook widget.
