Barlow Endowment Concert
A musical celebration in honor of the Prophet Joseph Smith, featuring four original scores commissioned by the Barlow Endowment for Music Composition at Brigham Young University. It features four of the outstanding performing groups from the BYU School of Music.
The compositions include: Green Tree by Stephen Jones written for and performed by the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra; Tribute by C. Murray Boren performed by the BYU Wind Symphony; Remembering Joseph: We Who Press to the Path composed by Robert Cundick for the BYU Singers; and Till All Eternity Shall Ring, with text from "A Collection of Sacred Hymns, 1835", Mack Wilberg composed four hymns - 1) Praise to God, Immortal Praise; 2) Glory to Thee, Eternal King (Evening Hymn); 3) Sing and Praise His Name Aloud!; and 4) The Great and Glorious Gospel Light - for the BYU Concert Choir.
