The program depicts the cyclical history of a Season of War, a Season of Peace, and a Season of Prosperity for the native people of North and South America and the Polynesian Islands. The program includes behinds the scenes comments by members of this amazing group. It was recorded in HD in the de Jong Concert Hall in Provo Utah campus of Brigham Young University in February of 2009, as well as several locations on tour in Argentina in April of that same year.

Conductor Kory Katseanes leads the BYU Philharmonic Orchestra in their performance of the revolutionary masterpiece Symphonie Fantastique by romantic composer, Hector Berlioz. Berlioz originally wrote and premiered this piece in 1830 at the age of 27, but over the years was changed significantly and re-published in 1845. The BYU Philharmonic Orchestra consists of 95 of the University?s most talented musicians and has an impressive repertoire. This show was originally taped in HD on November 22, 2008 at the de Jong Concert Hall of the Provo, Utah campus of Brigham Young University.

Viva España: BYU Ballroom Dance Concert

The BYU Ballroom Dance Company is one of America's outstanding performing dance groups. Nineteen-time winners of the prestigious British Formation Dancing Championships, and holders of the U.S. Formation title since 1982, they have been acclaimed as "one of the top three formation dance teams in the world." The company was organized around 50 years ago and is now the largest collegiate dance program in the world. The performance by BYU Ballroom Dance Company features a variety of dances from different genres and eras, including the award winning presentations.

| 9/21/2010 | 9:00 PM | Twelfth Night | Arguably one of Shakespeare's funniest and most colorful plays, "Twelfth Night" is a story of misunderstanding, mistaken identity, and miscommunication. This production, created with children in mind, is performed by BYU's Young Company Shakespeare Troupe. Christopher Clark pulls double duty for the play as both director and in the role of Sebastian, which he shares with Ben Phelan, a junior in theater arts education. Shalaina Fotheringham, a senior studying therapeutic recreation and acting, plays Viola. Other cast members include Matthew Carlin as the Captain, Malvolio, and Sir Topas; Christy Gordon as Andrew Aguecheek; J. William Hasler as Duke Orsino; Gene Ledbetter as Toby Belch; Lauren Noll as Feste; Laura Sorenson as Olivia; and Alexis Wardle as Maria. |
